Our second day started with a hike to the Battle Creek waterfall. Everyone met at our house in the morning, and we walked over.
There wasn't nearly as much water in the falls as there usually is, but it was still enough to keep us nice and cool!
The older boys found this snake "climbing" the waterfall.
We hung out in the shade and cool mist and talked for awhile before heading back for lunch.
Some of the older kids (and a couple adults and little kids) made it to the pool to swim later. I have no photographic evidence of this, because I was worn out by that point- and I stayed home. :)
