BYU Marching Band Competition

Last Tuesday night was the BYU competition, so those of us who are not in the band (only a slightly larger group than those who are!) headed down to watch.  We got there early enough to watch a few bands before and one or two after PG.

Tim joined us after a little while (he had been on campus working on his dissertation).
Eliza was glad to see him! :)

It was Pleasant Grove's turn!  I took this picture while Price was running onto the field with the gong.  And then my camera died.  Grrr.

Oh well.  Even without photo documentation, we had a good time, and the band looked and sounded great. It's fun to watch at BYU, because you can get higher up and see the formations better than you can at a high school competition.  The kids have worked really hard- and they're awesome!
