Look at those gorgeous cherries!
Our tree was great this year- Tim figured out the spraying schedule (after last year's worm debacle), and we didn't find a single worm. We also decided to let the kids use cherries as a fundraiser for marching band. Rebekah, Price and Josh helped pick, wash, weigh and deliver cherries- and, selling them 2 pounds for $5, managed to make $160! Not bad for one tree in the backyard. Emma did ask if we could eat more of them next year. :)
We have had quite the fundraising summer- first cherries, then lawnmowing, Rebekah's job at Little Caesar's, selling flashlights, and ksl.com ads. It all helps!
