Ethan is 11!

 This kid is getting old!  

He had his birthday, and his Arrow of Light Ceremony (grandma took pictures- I'll have to get them and add them here sometime), and now he's an 11 year old scout!  No more pack meetings, darn it! :)

Ethan is a great kid- he is smart and funny, and has the best imagination.  He is the one that other kids flock to when they want to play something really fun- I am amazed at the games he comes up with!  He is amazingly creative- when he says he is going to make something, I let him- because it'll work.  He is great with Legos, K'Nex and Erectors, and any other building material you can think of, including paper with tape and staples.  Last year he was into birds, owls especially, but this year his focus has changed to weapons and military vehicles.  He checks out big books from the adult section with names like, "The Encyclopedia of Modern Military Warfare"... and then reads them.  This is a smart kid- I can't wait to see what he chooses for a career!
