Easter, etc.

Ethan's "state" report.  His teacher this year gave kids the option of doing an event rather than a state, and Ethan chose to do his on Gettysburg.

And here's the one picture I managed to take at track this year.  Price and Josh are both in track at the Jr. High, and have really had a fun time.  Price is doing shot put, long jump, high jump and the 800, and Josh has done high jump, 800 and mile.  The blur in the picture is Josh, in case you couldn't tell!

Easter weekend was crazy!  On Saturday, besides having two soccer games, I had promised the kids we'd do all sorts of things for Easter, and had to get them all done in a limited amount of time... and we actually managed to do it.  We had an Easter egg hunt (our traditional hunt with 7th ward was a couple of weeks before), dyed eggs (someday my kids are really going to freak someone out when they can't understand why you would need to boil an egg before you dye it...), and made Bunny Buns, plus I made desserts for Easter dinner, went grocery shopping and planned our Sunday school lesson.  Whew!

Sunday, we had Mom and Dad Steele, Grandma Shipley and Ben and Claire over for Easter dinner.  It was so gorgeous outside that we took tables out and ate there.  Wonderful!  We had ham, potatoes, fruit salad, rolls, and asparagus, with Key Lime pie and Strawberry Cheesecake bars for dessert.  Yum.
The company was wonderful, too- lots of fun discussion!
