Riverwoods

The kids had two whole weeks off of school this year, but Tim had to work for the first week.  One evening that week, we drove down to meet him at Riverwoods to see the Christmas lights.  We started at Blickenstaffs (a really fun toy store- reminded us of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium), and then walked around outside.  It was COLD.  Shortly after we took these pictures, Eliza decided that it was TOO cold, and started screaming.  That cut our trip short, but the kids did get to pick out some (overpriced) vintage candy to buy at Blickenstaffs.

This year, we also managed to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point, and the Parade of Lights in Spanish Fork.  That last one has become a tradition, and I have to say that it's my favorite- no lines (at least we've never had one), great lights, and it's only $5 per car.  I really do like seeing lights without ever leaving the warmth of the car!
