My talented sister!

This is the artwork that my sister Amy sent us for Christmas.  I have wanted something by her for a long time, but it always seemed a little awkward to say, "Look, I know you're a little busy with your 5 kids and your calling as Relief Society president, but would you make me something?  And since I have no money, will you do it for free?"  So she finally took pity on me and sent me this gorgeous fiber art for Christmas.  In case you're not familiar with Moab, it is Dead Horse Point, and is a combination of dyed fabric, applique and embroidery... and Amy will have to comment and tell you the rest, since I have no clue.

I love it- and it will be the first piece of real artwork I hang in our new home!
Thank you, Amy!
