Books I Read in 2010

This post is mostly for my own record- it's a copy of the book list I've had on my sidebar for the last year. I've never kept track of the books I've read before- it's kind of amazing to me how many I read this year! People ask me all the time how I have time to read so much- the answer is, I guess, that I 1)read extremely fast, and 2)would rather read than do most any other leisure activity. I have been known to read while I vacuum and ride a bike. But not recently. So here's my 2010 list, and if you're actually interested, (rd) means I read it in reader's digest condensed form, and * means I recommend it highly. Also, this list is chronologically backwards- so the first book on the list was the last one I read.

(Just so you don't have to spend precious minutes of your life counting to see how crazy I am, the grand total for the year is 131. No, really.)

Okay, I have to personally thank you for funding my father-in-law's retirement fun. :) I just finished a childrens version of Three Cups of Tea. I'd like to read the real thing.

I really appreciate this list. I go to the library, and I never have any idea what to pick up, since I'm deathly afraid of running into smut. Now, thanks to your recommendations, I'll be able to choose with confidence. Thanks! --Sarah
