In case you're not familiar with Pi Day, here's the deal:
March 14th= 3-14, or 3.14, a.k.a. pi.
So... since it's "pi" day, we of course had to make "pie" to celebrate!
Let's be honest, though. Who cares about pi? It's all about an excuse to eat pie!
This is the absolute best apple pie recipe I've ever made. Here's the link. Go. Make it. Be happy. By the way, refrigerated pie crust works just fine.

No, I'm not really shorter than the counter- but Emma really wanted to take a picture, and she is.

Too busy eating to look at the camera.

Ditto... with the added allure of comics. Does Sunday afternoon get any better than this?

Mmm... pie.

What a great idea! I agree, an excuse to make pie is always a good thing, and reinforcing a math concept, well, that's almost too good to be true.
And thanks for posting the link for the apple pie recipe!
Looks super delicious. I love pie in any form. We'll have to try the recipe. Have a great day.
