And yet another new experience for Emma. Trying new things is never effortless with her- but I just wanted her to try basketball! Little Hoopsters isn't a traditional league- instead, the kids meet once a week for four weeks, and learn skills. It's a great, low-stress introduction to the game. Emma was reluctant until I bribed her with the ever-successful dollar store trip. She gets to pick out one thing after she has gone to all four practices. At least it's cheap!
When we got there, she realized that she knew most of the players on her "team". Seven kids from our ward were there!
Shooting was a little frustrating for her- she hasn't had much practice. This week, though, she finally made a basket!
Someday she's going to thank me for making her try new things, right? Right?
