24 Things About Me

Thanks for the tag, Debie. It's really silly how excited I got about being tagged... pathetic, I know. So here goes... try not to get too jealous of my super-exciting life.

*Four places I go over and over-

Lajes Elementary/High School
The commissary
The base post office
Walking on the boardwalk along the ocean.

*Four people who email me-

The school (including kid's teachers)

Allrecipes (The Daily Dish)

Mom and Dad Walker (on a mission in Australia)

Juli (soon I'll be back in Utah and we can TALK again!)

*Four of my favorite foods-
(Are you kidding me? Narrow it down to four? I'll try...)

Cheesecake- or anything else with cream cheese in it.

Peach Cobbler- my ultimate comfort food.

Cream of Wheat with butter, brown sugar and raisins

A perfectly ripe nectarine

*Four places I'd rather be right now-

Here, but with Mom and Dad (2 1/2 weeks!)

At our family reunion

At BYU Women's Conference

Anywhere with my sisters and friends

*Four movies I could watch over and over again-
Sorry, this question really isn't relevant to my life- I don't like watching movies over and over again. Instead, I'm going to list the four movies I've been cajoled into watching over and over in the last few weeks.

The Princess and the Pauper (Barbie)

Barbie Island Princess

Go Diego Go

Various Dora the Explorer Videos

Can you tell I have little girls?

*Four people I think will respond (this is a tag invitation)-

Marian (because she LOVES being tagged)

Sarah (ditto)

Liz (my cousin)

Jenni (or Matt, if you can talk him into it!)

Okay Jenny, re the "Iowa Banana Salad", I was at a playgroup the other day that was full of Iowa natives and I asked if they had ever had that salad and no one ever had and they all thought it sounded kind of gross.

At the same event, someone brought grape salad (I thought of this because of your cream cheese liking). It had whole grapes, cream cheese, sour cream, brown sugar and chopped pecans in it. It was way yummy, if not entirely healthy. I did a search for "grape salad" and found several similar recipes on recipezaar.com and allrecipes.com if you are interested.

So just two posts ago I was tagged. It seems a little early for me, don't know if I'm ready to give up the last one yet, but we'll see. . . :)

Thanks for playing tag with me. I love to read the thoughts you have. Come on, not one grown up movie you love?

Liz- Have fun!

Amy- I am sincerely glad that "Banana Salad" is NOT an Iowa thing. Grape salad, on the other hand, sounds yummy.

Marian- Hey- if you'd post more often, you wouldn't have this problem. I'm just trying to force you into it :)

Deb- I like lots of movies. However, I must have a memory problem- I pretty much forget I've seen it by the next day. The last movie I saw and really liked was "Enchanted". And no, I haven't seen any more recent movies.
