Annie, having checked a VHS movie out at the library yesterday:
"Mom, can I watch this movie?"
Me:"Yep, but you'll have to rewind it first."
Annie: "What's that?"
And then she just about died before it finished rewinding:
"This is taking soooooo long!"
Emma, whispering in my ear when I picked her up from kindergarten today:
"Mom, **** wants to marry me."
Aren't we starting just a tad early here?
Price, as he was supposed to be sleeping last night, asked instead:
"Mom, when you were growing up did most people have computers?"
Me: "No."
Price: "When did your family get a computer?"
Me: "Not until after I was in college."
Price: (stunned disbelief)
Also, none of my kids can understand how we possibly lived before the advent of the internet. Actually, though, neither can I.

Hilarious! I have to admit I was glad to see less than 6 asterisks for the name of the boy that wants to marry Emma! I am not ready for that yet!
I remember we used to have a set of huge encyclopedias that took up a tremendous amount of space. How could there possibly be enough information in those?
I love that you share what your kids say, so cute.
actually, Sarah said...
Gotta admit that kindergarten is when I started praying to know whom I should marry. I'd asked my mom how I'd ever be able to decide between the twins I was crushing at the moment. She told me I'd just have to pray about it. I prayed for a loooong time. Only took me 19 more years after that. :)
